The only thing I would say it needs is a 'project file' concept or relative file paths to a project folder. PCB layout is intuitive and has a decent design rule checker. Schematic drawings are fast to make and update. dxf drawing and I can make a PCB out of it that fits perfectly in the mechanical housing. The 3D model support (.STEP) is essential when working with a mechanical design team. Making iterative changes through a product life cycle is very simple and saves a lot of time. Library management is easy to use and making custom patterns and components is a breeze. Their forum is very responsive and have great customer support.

Any upgrade fee you may have to pay for a new version is very reasonable and far from full price. You don't have to pay for any add-ons to make it useful or pay a yearly subscription for anything. It's easy to use, feature rich, and a great price. I have been using Diptrace for a few years now professionally.
